Celts on Fire, Tom and Iris Ross are organizing a 48 hours long praise gathering in the fields of the old Monastery Church in Bangor, Northern Ireland. There used to be a continuous, 15o years long, without ceasing lasted praise watch in the monastery by 3000 monks during the years 572 and 824 after Christ.
The monks went during the 700 century to all over Europe preaching the gospel and also teaching to read and write. The monastery was destroyed and all the monks killed by the vikings in 824. Päivi Heikkilä lead a group of intercessors from Norway, Denmark and Finland in 2002 to Bangor to a prayer gathering in the Anglican Church, which has been built on the place of the old monastery. The gathering was held on 5th of Sept. 2002, attending all the pastors of the city as well as the Mayor of the city, and the church full of people gathered to pray for their city. The group from Scandinavian nations asked for forgiveness for the works of their forefathers, the vikings. As we knelt on the floor of the church and confessed the murdering of God’s servants in the same place over 1000 years ago and asked for forgiveness and as the pastor hugged us for forgiveness, the precence of God came strongly in midst of us and people all over the church was seen to take their hankerchiefs and wiped their eyes from the tears. After this we have seen Northern Ireland having more and more peacefull in their country. As we handle the things in the spiritual level, we will see the results in the natural level.

Jesus turned down the tables of people in the temple of God and called the temple to be a house of prayer for His Father. There can not be two tables in the house of God, not the table of people or false gods and the table of God. There has to be only one table, the table of God!
Even today we need boldness to turn down the tables of people and false gods! We can not get rain while serving both God and Baal. Prophet Elia asked the people whom they want to serve, before the rain came. God wants to revive Finland and Europe, now is His time, but His temple is full of all kind of staff and different tables for different purposes, but the table of God is forsaken! We have to repent and turn to God with all our hearts, if we want revival. This has to start from our own life and church!
It is difficult to stop serving the false gods, we see this in the history of Israel. The Old Testament mentions allways if the king of Israel had turned the tables of false gods down or not. Jesus did this, and we have to follow Him! Only then we will see His glory in midst of us. If we fear people more than God, we can not do this. God is seeking His servants, who fear Him and not the people!!

Throughout the Bible we read about the majority coming against the minority. The minority are those who follow living God and the majority are those giving up from following Him. This is most clearly coming up of those who will be saved and those who will be lost, Jesus saiying that many are those who will go trhough the wide gate and few those who will find life.
We see this already when God told Israel to go and take the land He had given to them. Only Kaleb and Josua of all the tribes of Israel were ready to obey God. The 10 other tribes were not willing to take the promised land and even gave a bad report of it and wanted to stone Kaleb and Josua. God’s anger rose against those, who did not listen to Him, but wanted to rebel against His command.
When God had anointed David as king, only Judah and Benjamin were ready to have him as a king, but the 10 other tribes wanted to have Saul’s son’s son as a king. Finally they admitted that David was the one, who had lead them up to this point anyhow and agreed.
Salomon, the son of David, had been given so much by God, but still he in the end of his days departed from followin his God, but let his wifes turn his heart to follow their gods. Even though God had warned him about this (II Chron. 7:19-22), he had become so blind that the warnigns of God did not reach his heart enymore. This is very dangerous situation in a person’s or nation’s life! In the time of Salomon’s son, Rehoboam, God diveded the kingdom and only Judah and Benjamin stayed faithful to living God and the rest of Israel turned away from Him.
In II Chron. 11 we see what happened; Israel by their king Jeroboam forsake God as the king “appointed for himself priests for the high places, for the demons, and the calf idols which he had made” (verse 15). But in verses 13-14 we see that “from all their territories the priests and the Levites who were in all Israel took their stand with him” (Rehoboam with Judah and Benjamin). “For the Levites left their common-lands and came to Juhah and Jerusalem…” In verse 16 we see that “after the Levites left those from all the tribes of Israel, such as set their heart to seek the Lord God of Israel, came to Jerusalem to sacrifice to the Lord God of their fathers”. As Jesus said: they will know my voice and follow me!
This will happen in the end time too. Jesus spoke about the great apostacy coming before His second coming. Now is the time of this to start hapening before our eyes. The world church is taking shape and those who don’t watch to stay in Chirst will be blinded in following the antichrist spirit and finally will give up from following living God. Jesus said, the time will come when those who kill us, will think doing it for God (John. 6:2) The majority will think they are righ, and will start persecute the Bride of Christ, as Cain killed Abel and the majority of Israel wanted to stone Caleb and Joshua. The time has come everyone to take care to stay in Chirst and to watch the Word of God to obey it.

Päivi Heikkilä was teaching about The Intercessory Prayer for a City and about the Calling of God in your life the 10th of April in Helsinki Chirstian School.
God was strongly calling us to take our spiritual weapons and to rise up to fight for our city. We have been given all we need to take our cities for God. He has already fought the victory over the devil and took the weapons from him and gave His victorius Name, the Name of Jesus, to us to declare the triumphant victory over the enemy!
God also strongly called the pastors and prohpets and apostles to serve together the Body of Christ and to prepare it for the work of service for Him. He said He will rise up in His Church and bring the apostolic order for the preparation of His Church for His glory and power to bring the revival to our nation.

God is calling believers to pray for their cities and to make room for the Kingdom of God and for the rule of Lord Jesus Christ, to whom all authority both in heaven and on earth has been given by God.
Holy Spirit will teach us how to war against the devil in our cities. It is not enough if we just come together to praise the Lord and to pray, but if we want really a change to take place in our city, we must dare to fight against the evil powers which are ruling over our cities and binding people from coming to the Lord. There are different levels and aspects in intercessory prayer for a city; one is to gather all churches together to pray, like in Turku “Tuli on irti!” -prayer gatherings, another is to have prayer groups were spiritual warfare can take place. We need to use the authority we have in the Name of Jesus and all the spiritual weapons we have been given. Paul is speaking much about spiritual warfare, and about the truth, that we are in war against the evil rules in high places and that we ought to rise up to fight against them and take the victory Lord Jesus has already fought for us over all powers of the enemy.
We have to praise and worship God and to intercede for our city, but also take the place in Christ to rule over our enemies. This is the step that still needs to take in Turku for the advance of God’s kingdom there!

God was strongly encouraging everyone to use their God given talents ja be free from the fear of the people. We may not be strong and powerful in the eyes of the world, but the power in side us, the Holy Spirit, is more powerful than anything in the world. As we start to move according the leading of the Spirit, we will see how the Holy Spirit will gain more and more room in our walk in God and we will experience more His manifested power and clory in our lives. These are the days God is calling the whole Body of Christ, every believer to step forward and to start boldly serving the Lord. Let us be faithful and steadfast to the end, He is faithful to be there with as and help and guide in every step. Don’t look at yourself, but to the Lord and His mighty power inside you, as you dear to obey Him!
