Restoring the Five Fold Ministry
Five fold offices
All Eph.4:11 five ministry offices, apostle, prophet, evangelist, shepherd and teacher, are called to prepare the saints ready for the work of the Gospel (Eph.4:10-12). For this to take place they all should minister in local congregations teaching and preaching, and training believers also in personal level.
Shepherds, in many cases, are doing all that alone. This has caused them to be overloaded and burned out, and the saints being neglected. The office of a teacher should be better utilized in the Body of Christ, than what it is at the present, and shepherds should welcome apostles and prophets to minister in local churches.
The restoration of the offices of an apostle and a prophet is going on in Body of Christ, to function as in the early church, discribed in the Bible.There is an urgent need of the strong impact of apostles and prophets in local congregations.
We are living the time of fulfillment of Eph. 4:10-16. The living Body of Christ is being built up to the full measure of Christ, as the bride of Christ, and each member prepared to fulfill their calling for the last great harvest.

Preparing the Believers for the Work of the Gospel
Preparing saints for their ministry, the building of the Body of Christ
“He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…” (Eph. 4:11-12)
The walk of a believer towards the more powerful influence of God through him, consists of three main states, similar to the three place in a temple; the outer court, the holy place and the holy of holiest. A believer is either fleshly, soulish or spiritual. The coal is to stay on Zion, God’s Mountain, which is the Holy of holiest, and to walk in the Spirit.
Ef.4:11 offices are called to prepare the belivers for the work to use their talents and gifts. Gongregations should receive all the ministry offices to teach and to engourage the saints to seek and to use their talents. Acts 3:21 tells us it’s time to restore all things before the Lord comes, He wants to glorify His House and to have all os us in our place and in full ministry, till we all are in the full measure of Chrsit. Eph, 4:11-16 shows how this is purposed to happen.

Covernmental Reformation
LORD’S GOVERNMENT, GOD’S ORDER!
“… a son will be given to us; and the government will be on His shoulders; and His name will be called Wonderful Counselor…” (Isaiah 9:6)
we need Governmental Reformation for the church of Christ, so that God can fill it with His glory, and that the Holy Spirit is able to work with full power. According to the Bible God gave His glory to the temple when it was fully ready; Tabernacle of Moses; when it was fully erected the glory of God came down, Salomon’s temple; at the inauguration the glory fell, and in NT; when they were gathered in the upper hall, and the Pentecost was fully come, the glory came down.
It’s time to get the Body build up to the full measure of Christ, for us to get the glory of God as His Bride (Eph. 5:27).

Why reformation is needed today?
The church of Christ has the New Testament already for 2000 years, but still not following the orders and model for the structure or function we see there for the church, why is this so?
In Finland the Lord woke us up for this, when He sent an angel to give a message to Veronika West on her way to Finland. Veronika fell in sleep in the airplane to Helsinki and an angel appeared to her with this word: Finland has 5 years time of grace to choose: church reformation or goat nation!
We pray that this word would reach the whole church in our country to humble ourselves and seek the Lord how to get this big change to take place in congregations. 3 years ago we had “Time of Change in the Church” – meetings, first in 12 cities and later in 9 more cities, to call the church to turn back to the Word. Now, after Veronika’s visit, the Lord told me to gather of group of apostles, prophets and shepherds to meet together monthly to seek ways to reformation.
In this group we found NEED FOR REFORMATION IN THESE MATTERS:
• Because of man has taken the place of the head, there is man’s order in the church, and because of that the will and plans of God for congregations can not take place
• The honest seeking of God’s will and honor is missing, instead there is seeking of mens favour; thus the helping believers to grow in all things to the head (Ef.4:15) is not taking place, but rather they are led to grow into spiritual leaders and local congregations.

Practical Reformation
Lord Jesus will restore everything to match the will of God in the time of reformation, which will be during the times of His return (Acts. 3:21). We are living that time right now, and He is going to fulfill the reformation Luther started in 1550 by restoring the understanding of salvation to be through faith.
Much is still to do, and we notice that when we read the New Testament writings on the church of Christ, the structure and the function of it. The model of the living temple of Jesus has been shown to us in the Bible, and we need to build exactly according to that. This means the fivefold ministry to prepare every saint fully reafy for their calling, the buidling up the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:11-13). The structure of the local congregation (the office of a shepherd being collaboration of the elders) and the church meetings to follow the model in the Bible; when we come together everyone has something to give, so that we truly will be built up by each member of the Body (Eph. 4:16). Also we need to remember that the goal of all the fivefold ministry, also of the shephed, is to get the believers in all things to grow into the head, Lord Jesus (not to the congrigation of any spiritual leader).
We notice many other things in the Word of God where we need to return to it, but here are few practical things which we could, if we wold want to, but let’s start with these very practical things first! And let’s pray the Holy Spirit to help the church of Christ to wake up to the need of reformation!

A vision of an angel warning of breaking the old wine skins
THE WARNING BY AN ANGEL CONCERNING THE REFORMATION WORK
I will share here a vision the Lord showed to my friend, as we were praying together some weeks ago. I believe it’s an advise and a warning to us in the call for reformation in Finland and in other countries too.
In th vision there was a big angel above Finland having in his/hers other hand an old broken wine skin with the wine flowing to the ground. In the other hand he/she had a grain spike.
The old broken wine skin warns us to pour out the new wine to the old wine skins. The grain spike is for a mature grain, the remnant that this end time reformation will produce. Repeytyneet vanhat leilit näyssä varoittavat meitä kaatamasta uutta viiniä vanhoihin leileihin. T
The Lord Himself has said, that no one will pour the new wine to the old wine skins, as they could not hold it without breaking and the ownner loosing both the wine skins and the wine.
New wine is the work of the Holy Spirit in restoring the church to the perfect will and plan of God. All the previous restoration waves have been the new wine. Those wine skins that have not received the new wine of those restorations, have become old wine skins. Those wine skins that have received it have been able to renew their wine skin so that they have remain new.
Also those wine skins that have been born by the new restoration wave, are of course new wine skins. Every new restoration wave births new wine skins.
The message this angel brougth to us, is that we should not try to pour the new wine to the old wine skins, but let them be happy with the wine they got from the Lord earlier. Other wise, if we try pour the wine to them, Lord Jesus is in danger to loose them.
When we preach and teach the reformation, the returning to the Word of God. we need to let the old wine skins choose if they try to receive the wine of not. The same goes with every believer, the choise is theirs. We freely give, but they have the right to decide if they want to get it nor not. We have to respect that.
Lord Jesus has bought every one of us, and He owns all His flocks. We need to work for the reformation in the shalom and love of our Lord. Reformaton is not a question of salvation, it’s the restoring the church of Christ to the full measure of Christ by the leading of Himself and according to His Word.
It’s time for Eph.4:11-16 to be fulfilled; every believer to be prepared to be fully ready for their calling from the Lord, and the Body of Christ to come to the full measure of Christ. This reformation os totally free to receive or not. Let the blessing and leading of our Lord, the Prince of Peace, be on us so that we are able to work in His love!

Ekklesian taisteluhuuto uskonpuhdistuksen puolesta
TAISTELUHUUTO
Kysymys on siitä, onko Herra Jeesus saanut ensimmäisen sijan kaikessa Jumalan Huoneessa maassamme, koska siitä riippuu koko kansamme kohtalo. Jumalan tuomiot alkavat Hänen huoneestaan.
Jumalan lähettämän enkelin sanomasta Veronika West kertoi: “SUOMI, Jumalan Rakastettu, SYNNYTTÄÄ TAISTELUHUUTOA … SODAN KARJUNTA on nousemassa Suomen ekklesian ylle jumalallista ennalleen asettamista ja USKONPUHDISTUSTA VARTEN…”
Myöhemmin siinä mainitaan: “Kansan, joka painii uuden nimensä siunauksen puolesta, kansan, joka huutaa taisteluhuudon… ”EMME PÄÄSTÄ IRTI ENNEN KUIN…”!!!” sekä: “…NÄIN KANSAKUNNAN TULEVAN VAKAVAAN KANNANOTTOON…PAINISKELUA JA
SOTIMISTA TÄMÄN KANSAKUNNAN SYNTYMÄOIKEUDESTA…JA SITTEN KUULIN TAISTELUHUUDON NOUSEVAN KANSAKUNNAN YLLE…”ME EMME HELLITÄ ENNEN KUIN”…!!!”

BUILDING THE LIVING TEMPLE
JESUS CAME OUT OF THE TEMPLE and went away… (Matt.24:1).
We are entering the time the words of Jesus to His wine dressers and builders concerning His Church on earth, will be fulfilled; those who have not received, or have forsaken, the Cornerstone, will find out there room to be desolate and forsaken by the Lord Himself.
He had warned those who forsake The CORNERSTONE that their house WOULD BE LEFT DESOLATE!
He said: Not a stone will be left on it. (Matt.24).
And in John 2: Destroy this temple, and I WILL BUILD it in three days… But He spoke about His LIVING BODY!!
We need to wake up and GET MOVING FOLLOWING HIM! Get out from those structures which have forsaken Him, and turned to build a church of their own. It’s time to make sure we have the Cornerstone in it*s proper place, in order to have also the Capstone in its place.
THE LIVING TEMPLE, the Body of Christ (1 Peter 2:4-7)
“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture, “Behold, I lay in Zion A chief cornerstone, elect, precious, And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.” Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone”
ORDER OF GOD, OR ORDER OF MAN? (Matt. 21:42-43)
– Do we have God’s order in the church, or man’s order? That shows if we may have rejected the Cornerstone…
“Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures: The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord’s doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes’? “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits”
He said to those; your house will be left desolate.
It’s time to check up how we are doing with the things He trusted to us, as the time for God’s judgement is drawing near, and it will start from His own House, the church.

HOLY PRIESTHOOD
Shalom, all you priests of the Lord!
The most illegitimate word that one can use of a bornagain believer is “a layman”, as he/she is by no means a layman, but a priest of the Lord. Those who use the word “layman” have not really understood the essence and structure of the living temple, His own Body, Jesus erected in three days, instead of the former hand made temple. 1 Peter 2:4-5 and 9;
“Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.”, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”
Holy Spirit speaks on the same subject in Eph. 4:10-13;
“He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things. And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ”
Lord Jesus has given the above mentioned five offices to prepare the holy priesthood fully ready for their ministry. The goal is the realization of the work of the holy priesthood. The ministry offices are for this purpose. That the whole living temple, the Body of Christ, would become fully ready. That’s the plan of the Lord; to get His living Body fully built up to function together under the Head, Lord Himself, according to the effect of the Holy Spirit. Then He is able to glorify Himself in us, and to take us to the clouds as His beautiful Bride (Eph.5:27).
Apostle Paul could write these verses to the Ephesians, because they had enough understanding on the matter. And that don’t surprise us, when we see what Lord Jesus said about the church of Ephesus in His letters to the seven churches in the Book of Revelation (Rev.2:6);
“But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.”
Ephesians hated the works of the Nicolaitans – but what are these works? The Creek word “nicao” means victory over others, to climb over others, and the work “laos” means ordinary people. A Nicolaitan is a person, who sets himself above others, to a higher class, considering others just ordinary, and himself above them. Or a person, who supports this view.
If we look at the early church, which was closest to the time of Jesus and His first apostles, we see in its structure and function the following: a church, or congregation, was born when believers started to gather as a holy priesthood, to praise the Lord, to pray and to minister each other with the gifts of the Spirit, in order to be build together as a living temple, and to proclaim the works of the Lord to the people. When congregations crew they needed shepherds, so the apostles choose elders for them (Acts 14:23). The ministry of helps was also initiated for different tasks in the churches.
Elders were the shepherds, the pastors, of the congregations. Paul’s valediction to the elders of Ephesus gives a clear picture of this. Acts 20:17-18a, 28;
“From Miletus he sent to Ephesus and called for the elders of the church. And when they had come to him, he said to them: Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood”
Nowhere in the Bible is mentioned, that only one pastor would shepherd the congregation. Even the world “pastor” is used only once in the New Testament, in Eph. 4:11, as one of the names of the fivefold office. Instead the elders are often mentioned, and precisely as shepherds of the flock. Elders are those functioning in the office of a pastor. During the time of the early church, apostles and prophets gathered with the elders of Jerusalem to seek the Lord for common questions of the churches, and choose some apostles and prophets to inform the churches with letters, and to visit the churches to strengthen them (Acts 15).
The church of Christ was led by apostles, prophets and elders, serving together under the Head, by the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Today one person, a pastor, seems to have a special place above all others in congregations. In many cases they even consider apostles and prophets as some, whom they can hire to “their churches”, thus seeing themselves as their “employers”! The Biblical order, on the contrary, was that apostles ordered them, the elders, to each congregation. How then this pastor -centered custom got started? It did start already in the early days of the church, as Jesus said in His letters to the churches to Pergamon (Rev.2:15); “you also have those who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.”
Apostle John also mentions similar practice in his 3rd letter, verse 9; “I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us.”
Even Jesus had to rebuke his disciples on competing who is first in midst of them. That’s the very nature of a fallen man, always wanting to be the first, above other people. This was Lucifer’s thought in heaven; to be like God, above others. We have to uproot all this kind of planting from the church of Christ! (Jer.1:10)
Reformation from the unbiblical practices of the Catholic church has been cut off long time ago, and still is. The Pope has named himself as the vicar of the Son of God on earth. Jesus warned the wine dressers on this same, when they replaced the owner of the wine yard from His position, by refusing to receive the servants He had sent. By this they themselves took the position of the owner. Matthew 21:42-43;
“Jesus said to them, “Have you never read in the Scriptures:
‘The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone.
This was the Lord’s doing,
And it is marvelous in our eyes’?
“Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a nation bearing the fruits of it. And whoever falls on this stone will be broken; but on whomever it falls, it will grind him to powder.”
In another place (Matthew 23:34) concerning the same, He says (verses 38-39); “See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”
In this setting those in a real danger – even though are stoned and mistreated – are not those sent by the Lord, but those who rises themselves against them. May the Lord give grace to His church to repent from the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, whatever it may take!
This is how the Lord is advising us (Matthew 23:8-12); “But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ. But he who is greatest among you shall be your servant. And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.”
This ONE, who is our Teacher, is that Cornerstone, the head, Lord Jesus Himself. Glory and honor to Him in His whole congregation! The day is coming when will be said: “The Lord alone is high and lifted up!” That mountain before Zerubbabel, that has rosed himself against the Cornerstone, will be lowed down before the Lord, and the Capstone will be lifted up to its place with the shouts of glory! Zachariah 4:7;
‘Who are you, O great mountain?
Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain!
And he shall bring forth the capstone
With shouts of “Grace, grace to it!”’

Apostle, one sent by the Lord
PLACE BEFORE HIM
Päivi Heikkilä 18.10.2016 for European Apostolic Leaders / http://europeanapostolicleaders.eu/bloggers/blog/article/1400908
An apostle is sent by the Lord. He is standing in two places; before His Sender, the Lord, and before those to whom He sent him; the people.In these places he has two totally different roles. Standing before the Lord he is getting orders and advises from Him who is above all other names, actually the King of kings. Standing before the people he is delivering to them that what he got from the Lord, being His representative. Before the people he is standing in the authority he has got from his Sender. Still he is a servant in both position.
Which one of these two places in the life of an apostle is more important? I think the one where he will finally be standing; before the Lord. He is his Judge, not the people. But he will be judged for his job with the people. So it too is important how he is standing before the people.
The crucial thing is the heart of the apostle, is he loyal and faithful to the Lord, seeking His glory, or does his heart become corrupt wanting the glory from the people to himself and not to the Lord, Whom he represents. Lord Jesus Himself was sent to us by the Father.
He speaks about these things in John. 5:41-44:
“I do not receive honor from men. But I know you, that you do not have the love of God in you. I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another comes in his own name, him you will receive. How can you believe, who receive honor from one another and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?”
The Lord is speaking here about the one sent by God and about the people to whom he is sent. Both are easily tempted to seek their own honor; the one sent in trying to please the people speaks from himself and not what the Sender has sent him to speak. And the people not wanting to humble themselves before the Lord in listening His Word, rather receive those speaking things easier to their ears.
Like Jesus tells in John 7:18:
“He who speaks from himself seeks his own glory, but he who seeks the glory of the One who sent him is true and no unrighteousness is in him.”
Apostle Paul also speaks much about this matter. He himself wanted only to please the Lord and was grieved about the fact that so many sent by the Lord were seeking their own glory. He said once that he did not have anyone seeking the will of God, to accompany him in the ministry, but they all were seeking their own.
There is a great danger in the temptation to seek honor and position to ourselves in midst of the people. We will then start pleasing them instead of pleasing the Lord. If we start focusing more in the people than in the Lord, we can get on a slippery surface. If we hold the place before Him as the most important place in our life, we will manage to stand before the people speaking the words He has given to us and not caring if we are pleasing the people or not, as long as we just please the One sent us to them.
Also, we don’t get the job done if we speak from ourselves. Only the words He gave to us have life and power in them and will not go in vain but fulfill the purpose why God sent them. And it takes God for real transformation, not any apostle or the people to whom he is sent are able to do anything life changing from themselves. They only get the same show going on… So if we want any results there are no reason to please ourselves or the people more than God. Let’s keep this in mind!
What others do to us is not as serious as what we do to others. Forgiveness in a kingdom honour. Finally when standing before the Lord, we are responsible only for our own acts and responses.
In every situation we better stay in Him, He is the right Way. In Him we will not only share His sufferings but also His victories. If you suffer, you will also rule. In Him we have all the wisdom we need in order to finish our course as a winner.
May this year be a good one for you; enough rest when needed, and a solid fight with a glorious victory when that’s the demand. And of course much joy and happiness in Him with a forgiving heart towards the people.
